How To Help
FaithWorks could not exist without the strong support of our community. God has blessed us with the time and talents of literally hundreds of people, and for that we are both humbled and grateful. That said, over the last five years the majority of our support has fallen in the following areas:
- Meal Preparation -- Each of our noon meals is provided by a generous and gracious member of our community. Many have found this to be an enriching and rewarding experience as they are our guests to share and meet the students one on one. While cooking for 25+ may seem a daunting task alone, many of our donors share this responsibility with their bible class or small group providing an opportunity for fellowship.
- Clothing Donations -- A fundamental concept behind FaithWorks of Abilene is to remove the barriers that often hinder members of our community from finding and obtaining gainful employment. No where can this be seen more than providing students with the proper attire to seek and keep a job. FaithWorks provides a professional clothing closet for their students which has been donated by members of our community.
- Specialized Talents -- Do you have a skill that you can donate that can offset the cost of our operation like carpentry, plumbing, writing, answering the phone? FaithWorks would love to talk to you about joining us as we serve others.
- Financial Donations -- FaithWorks is nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization and all financial donations are tax deductable.
No matter how you choose to help may God bless you as you bless others in his name.
